Mark S. DeGuenther, M.D.

Dr. DeGuenther received his undergraduate degree with highest honors from the University of Georgia. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his residency in general surgery and urology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. DeGuenther is certified by the American Board of Urology.

De. DeGuenther has a special interest in urinary incontinence, female urology, no-scalpel vasectomies, and stone disease. He has done extensive work in radioactive seed implantation for prostate cancer and performs laparoscopic surgery as well as other innovative, minimally invasive procedures such as indigo laser prostatectomy and microwave thermotherapy.

Dr. DeGuenther served as the urologist for the 1996 Olympic Soccer in Birmingham and the urologist of the 1999 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament.
